Description

The PowerBelt™ ELR Muzzleloader Bullets are revolutionary in design and performance. Made specifically for use with the CVA™ Paramount Muzzleloader Rifle, the PowerBelt Paramount ELR bullets are designed for shooters who require long-range power and accuracy, without compromising ballistic performance. These .45 caliber bullets feature an incredibly high ballistic coefficient for flatter trajectories and higher velocities than other muzzleloader bullets on the market today. The extended ballistic tip is designed to enhance accuracy, ballistic coefficient, as well as proper expansion on game with minimal fragmentation.

The PowerBelt™ ELR full caliber bullets leave little plastic residue behind and can be shot up to eight times before the recommended barrel swab is required. They are exceptionally easy to load due to the bullets being manufactured .001” under bore diameter. The patented PowerBelt™ Snap-On Base gas seal eliminates gas blow by, and at the same time gives optimal flight performance and down range accuracy you require. The base of the Paramount bullet is designed for the higher powder volumes out of the Paramount Muzzleloader, offering a tighter gas seal, while still loading significantly easier than comparable sabots.

The PowerBelt™ Paramount ELR is the pinnacle bullet in the PowerBelt™ line with an aerodynamic-enhanced ultra-smooth finish, fluted, large diameter gas check for an accuracy-enhanced tight fit, and smaller hollow-point cavity for controlled expansion. Powerbelt™ produces over 7 million muzzleloader bullets annually, making them the largest muzzleloading bullet manufacturer in the world.

Note: To ensure proper seating and to maintain optimal performance of the ELR bullet it is recommended to use the CVA Paramount™ ELR Bullet Loading Tip - AC1722. Purchase the loading tip here: ELR Loading Tip AC1722

Mule deer stopper

Accurate and lethal on mule deer at 110 yds. Dropped to ground when hit

Work fine out of my CVA .45 cal Paramount

Gentle seating of ELR bullets is critical for accuracy. Try not to damage the blue skirt with excessive force and they will shoot accurately. I can shoot one moa at 100 yards with 98 grain (by weight) of Blackhorn 209 powder in my .45 cal CVA Paramount. This recipe has very little recoil and I am getting 2,350 fps velocity at 700 ft elevation. This bullet has enough energy to kill an elk ethically out to 200 yards without any problem.

ELR Bullets

Lined my CVA Accura up with the .45 caliber ELR 285 gr. Bullets. Shoots great and can’t wait to try them out in deer season!

Absolute tac drivers with magnum load and 1:22 twist

Every time I read a negative review of these ELR'S I swear people must not be following the suggestions such as correct twist and using a magnum charge. A twist rate of 1:24 or faster is needed to stabilize these giants with any length barrel. And it is necessary to run these long bullets as hot as possible so using your maximum change for your particular propellant will be necessary. CVA themselves suggest using nothing but magnum loads for the elr's, at least in .45 cal. Because if you follow those two important steps I can guarantee success... At least my Accura MR-X v2 can attest. I mean at 100 these things just STACK! Sub moa is easy. Almost a walk in the park. And if I do my part, half inch groups easy at 100 yards so far. I wish I could attach the groups I shot the other day using pyro select to boot. Not even running bh209 yet... Haven't seen a need yet! Waiting to confirm some trajectory out to 2 and then 300 yards which is where I predict this bullet will really shine. With a bc higher than anything in it's class, the high velocities you can achieve, and pin point accuracy, these ELR'S aren't the only thing on the shelf in .45 cal because of lack of performance as I've seen claims. They're on the shelf because they actually do their job! They load after no swabs of over 10 shots no problem whatsoever even with a collapsible carbon fiber ramrod. Loading using the plastic tip provided can be tricky as the ogive is so sharp it likes to create a suction between the two.

Absolute tac drivers with magnum load

It took me just 3 shots to sight these absolute monsters in in my CVA Accura MR-X v2. It specifically calls for a magnum charge. If you try and run lighter loads results will suffer but that's to be expected given the length and sharp ogive of these bullets. Use correct load and also ensure your barrel is above a 1:24 twist rate and I assure you will be satisfied
