The Investarm™ Gemmer Hawken Barrel Ramrod Spring also fits Lyman™ Great Plains Rifle muzzleloaders. The ramrod spring and screw is designed to help secure your ramrod to the underside of the barrel. When installed, the spring act as a friction plate to hold the ramrod in place.

Spring is OK but the screw , a bit small and short . wont fit the Italian Hawken from the mid 80s .Not a big problem just an inconvenience
