With the integrated grips and wider forestock, this gun is sure to stay firm in your hands in the toughest weather conditions. Traditions features Cerakote™ coatings on all of their Pursuit™ barrels and actions, making these muzzleloaders to be 50 times more corrosion resistant than stainless steel. Nice gun

Had this sighted in at 100 yds within 5 rounds. Scope adjusted as it should and gun worked as it should. Gun has a nice balance to it and comes to shoulder quickly and on point -- no searching for the scope picture. The ram rod is an interesting item... I ended up cutting 1 1/2" off the non threaded end and using locktite on the extension. Now my ram rod sits under the gun with about 1/2" showing but is ready for a quick reload for a second shot and seats the bullet perfectly.
I use two 50 gr. triple seven pellets and 295 gr. Powerbelt aerotip bullets.
I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

New to muzzleloaders

Great shooting rifle. Kicks like a mule with the highest recommended load, which is what I was using for hogs. Wouldn't hurt to add some weight to it. Fairly accurate even with my shaky hands. The scope is ok. It gets the job done. I'm only shooting 100-150 yds. Took me a bit to find a bullet and powder combination I liked. Slim pickings in this market. Over all it's decent start into muzzleloaders and I would recommend it.
