Where has this been?

Absolutly fan5astic! Residue literally wipes away. No more scrubbing and scraping the breach plug after a day of shooting. It literally wipes away!

Easy to use, does the job

The downside for me of using water and dish soap to clean BP are the necessary steps of avoiding flash rusting and displacing the water. After I used all of my ancient Hoppe's BP cleaner, which worked great but smelled awful, I took a chance on Butch's. No odor and it works great. Clean the bore with this on a nylon bristle brush then patches, run dry patches, then oil = done. Good stuff!

Must have

This is a necessity for my 54 cal. Muzzle Loader. I am shooting a very long barrel gun made about 1880. It is prone to carbon build up shooting 80 grains of fffg. This solvent cleans the gun like no other. I use it exclusively.

Bore Shine

Used on a 1863 Sharps after each black powder firing...I do get a clean bore. Easy flow from the can...maybe a little too freely, if anything. Recommended to me by a muzzle-loader re-enactment friend.
