traditions 50. cal kentucky flintlock pistol kit

Nice flintlock kit for the price. I got my first muzzle loader kit in 1979. Shoots pretty accurate. I crossed threaded a screw while building the kit, it was my own fault. Called traditions and they sent me a replacement screw free of charge.

.50 caliber Kentucky Flint lock pistol

This is my third pistol build. Arrived quickly. Went together the best so far. Everything fit as expected. Very pleased with the results. Haven't fired it yet, but maybe this weekend. Overall, very pleased and happy.

Overall, a nice kit for the price. Some inletting and shaping required. I expected that. Nice pistol. Added a belt hook I made.

Fun to build, not great quality

I've built the Kentucky rifle and now the pistol, fun project if you're patient and have some basic woodworking skills. My only disappointment with both Traditions guns is the quality of the trigger assembly, they need to put a little engineering so the trigger doesn't flop around, a simple spring would suffice
