Description

The CVA Wolf™ V2 has many new features including all the features that made the original Wolf the number one selling muzzleloader in the world. Still lightweight and easy to maneuver, the new Wolf V2 even comes with an adjustable stock that is customizable to any sized frame.

The CVA™ Wolf V2 features 100% ambidextrous stocks that are available in either matte black or camo. The Wolf V2 also features CVA’s new QRBP (Quick-Release Breech Plug) – the only truly tool-free removal breech plug on the market today. Even after 20 or more shots, the QRBP comes out with just a twist of the fingers – try that with any other "speed breech" system. Plus, the break-action breech opens easily with just a touch of the breeching button, which is located in the front of the trigger guard.

The CVA™ Wolf V2's compact and quick-pointing barrel is made of stainless steel and is set up with a DuraSight® one-piece scope mount. The adjustable stock features a 1" spacer making the rifle just right for youth or small-framed adults, or even for the shooter who just wants a quick-handling gun for brush hunting. The Wolf V2, it’s a lot of gun – but not a lot of money.

Great rifle

I have filled both of my black tail tags this year, I sighted my cva wolf v2 in at 100 yards and my groupings were less than an inch’s apart. I have been hunting brush and this gun is so light weight and maneuverable that my shot speed is so high and still have great accuracy. Both of my shots this year were freehand and nailed my bucks perfect both times and the deer ran about 10-15 yards before dropping. Love this gun so much and I highly recommend it.

accurate ,easy to load, easy to clean, price is good WHAT more do you need??? every cva that I own has not let me down hunting deer in the North East, have shot several different bullet, and Sabot combinations out of one of these muzzleloaders black horn 209 , 60 grs. weighed, with a 240 -290 grain
bullets will take any whitetail in the woods, ;-)

Excellent Price & Quality

Ordered the CVA Wolf after having some issues with another muzzleloader brand. Muzzleloaders.com shipped with no issues around a week later. This rifle is on the compact side, with a shorter length of pull than most rifles but still shoulders well. This rifle also feels great in the hand and feels natural when aiming. Despite being on the lighter side, the recoil was manageable with two fifty-grain pellets pushing a 245-grain sabot. The breech plug unscrews for easy cleaning and access to the bore. The bore is smooth, and sabots push easily into the breech. Bullet groupings at 100 yards are comparable with a modern bolt-action rifle. I was able to fine-tune this rifle and sighted in with only 5 shots. I have not harvested a white tail with the Wolf yet, but I have no doubts that it will do the job. I'd highly recommend the CVA Wolf, or any CVA muzzleloader, to experienced hunters and novices alike.

Loving black powder again.

Decided to hunt the muzzle season this year and broke out the black knight that has set for 10+ years. Tried to zero and was reminded why I put it away originally. Didn’t give up (but close )and decided to try a more modern loader. The price point did not cause much of a risk. After a quick shipment and easy zeroing,(5 shots was overkill but bullets were still sliding with little effort) I have to say I’m very impressed with this gun. Size and weight is perfect, stainless makes for less stress in the weather, I’ll admit that I should have gotten the camo version because even though the flat finish on the stainless is hard to see, needs to be camo in my opinion.
