This is really a beautiful rifle. I got the one built by Phillip on the build videos. The videos clearly show the build process. And, it turned out great with the work he put in. The carvings really add to the rifle.
My only "complaint" is the standard flints (3/4) do not fit in the patch box (yes I noticed it is called a patch box, but all the demonstrators show it holding flints).
I'm impressed with the staff at Muzzle-Loaders. I definitely plan to buy my stuff from them.

Took about a week working on it in the evenings. People say 6-8 coats of tru oil but I found 5 coats to be the ideal finish for my taste. My kit was missing some parts. I called Traditions directly and they sent free replacement parts right away. Very friendly, real people who know their product well.

Very nice kit and was rather easy to put together however they did not include the instructions are the sights.
I contacted Traditions and after e mailing them the receipt they are sending out new ones, and the instructions were easily downloaded off their website.
Overall this is a very nice rifle and a really fun build just go slow and take your time.

Great little project easy enough to build only issue the brass wedge plate screws need to be a little heavier duty. Still lots of fun.

I bought this for my son-in-law for Christmas, he loves it. He is so excited to build his own Flintlock.
I was so impressed with Muzzle-Loaders! My husband wanted it to come by Christmas, so he called to see if it was possible. The Gentleman was so helpful and so personable very great Company to buy from. I would buy from Muzzle-Loaders again and I know we will. I can't say enough good things about this Company.
I would say don't hesitate to buy from them again or if it's your first time go for it!
