Description

The Anarchy Outdoors® CVA Paramount Full Port Muzzle Brake is intentionally designed for use on the Paramount muzzleloading rifles. The full port design of this break provides greater recoil reduction than other brakes with a 3 or 4 port design while quickly dispersing gases and smoke from the shooters field of view. This is crucial out in the field so hunters can quickly retarget the animal they just shot at. 

Another great feature of the Anarchy Outdoors CVA Paramount Muzzle Brake is the spiral port and parabolic internal taper design. This combination of features drastically reduces recoil and noise allowing the shooter to stay on target and not decimate their eardrums in the process.

This .45 caliber muzzle brake will fit on 3/4 x 20 threaded barrels and is perfect for the CVA Paramount and Paramount Pro muzzleloaders.

Great recoil reduction but smoke

I didn’t have any accuracy issues and it significantly reduced recoil but man I don’t remember a massive smoke cloud without the brake and with the brake there’s a pretty significant smoke cloud out the muzzle, it dissipates relatively quickly but just more smoke than before. Overall it’s tough to shoot without it and o Lu slightly annoying to shoot with it. Still overall pleased.

lots of smoke

Yes it takes away the recoil. But, the smoke cloud is dense and big. Each shot I shoot, target practicing I hold my breathe till the cloud passes. I have since taken it off. I'll wait for a replacement from CVA. FYI, I shoot 209 Blackhorn.

Looks great but save your money for the Paramount Brake

While I can’t find Blackhorn 209 anywhere, using my Jim Shockey gold to try and sight in, this muzzle brake just throws the smoke in your face. I was talked out of back ordering the Paramount Brake which only has ports on the side so as to keep the smoke from blocking your view.
