Description
The CVA™ NW QRBP Breech Plug Installation Tool is used to initially install new Northwest QRBP breech plugs. To use the tool, simply tighten the breech plug firmly into the barrel. This fits/seats the threads of the breech plug to the barrel. Next, tighten the plug more tightly than you would be able to achieve with just your hands using the breech plug tool, then loosen the plug.
If the plug has not been tightened far enough, the rifle will not cock. After the tool has been used to install, you will not need to use it again. The tool can also help to fix a rifle that will not cock, by tightening the breech to the barrel.
