Description

Investarm replacement barrels are identical to the barrels that come with the fully assembled factory new rifles. The replacement barrels come with sights, barrel rib or ramrod thimbles and a nipple or touch hole liner included. These barrels are compatible with both Investarm muzzleloaders and older Cabelas Hawken muzzleloaders of the same style.

Factory new replacement barrels are ideally suited for replacing older corroded and pitted barrels, making your own muzzleloader kit or having a different twist rate barrel on hand for a rifle you already have.

These replacement barrels are fully finished and are imported brand new from the Investarm factory in Italy. 

Important Note: Make sure to purchase the correct ignition type for your rifle! Percussion ignition barrels are not compatible with flintlock muzzleloaders and same the other way around. Likewise left and right-handed ignitions are not interchangeable.

Perfect fit for my Cabela’s Hawken

I bought a .54 caliber barrel to replace the .50 caliber barrel that my LH Cabela’s Hawken came with. The new barrel came complete with the under rib, sights and a nipple. It was a perfect drop-in fit.

On my first range trip it gave one-hole groups at 50 yards from the bench, using a .530 Hornady round ball and 0.018” ticking, on top of 80 grains of 2Fg Scheutzen black powder. I use a wet lube for target shooting and a grease or tallow for hunting, so I tried both types. The lubes didn’t change group size or point of impact.

If you have a smaller caliber rifle this fits, it's an excellent way to increase power for hunting without buying an entirely new gun.

A much needed upgrade

My Cabela's InvestArms Hawkens had been shooting inconsistently for several years. I finally bit the bullet (so to speak) and invested in this replacement barrel. It took some minor adjustments to fit my existing stock, but once installed I noticed an immediate improvement in grouping with both patch and roundball as well as conical bullets. I wish I had made this purchase years ago, would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. Looking forward to muzzleloader season!

New barrel for Invest arms Hawkins

I haven’t shot the new barrel yet. It looks like a top notch barrel. It came with front and rear sights and nipple. I don’t regret purchasing this barrel to replace my old rusty bore which still shot pretty good.

Nice barrel, but had to under barrel rib is too long to be direct drop in for 1990’s Cabela Hawken

Nice finish and stainless nipple are good touches. Will take it off and cut it back so it fits
