The CVA® Williams™ WGRS compact, metal peep sight is fabricated for use on CVA® Octagonal Barreled Rifles. The perfect complement to traditional CVA rifles, the durable, low profile, rustproof peep sight is lightweight, yet built to stand up in the toughest weather conditions. 

Easy to mount to your rifle barrel with just two screws, or utilize the dovetail or existing screw holes on top of your receiver for quick installation. Sight your rifle in easier and faster with the compact, low-profile peep sight. The CVA® Williams ™WGRS peep sight is machined from durable, lightweight aluminum and features positive wind and elevation locks.

A Classic

I mounted this on a Contender Carbine barrel, for short to intermediate range use on a deer and utility rifle. It is light weight, and I love aperture rear sights. If the situation warrants, the hood can be removed and used as a ghost ring.

Downside ? Sight adjustment requires some dexterity. If I needed to change sight settings a lot, I'd opt for one of the Williams sights with knobs. In that case, I'd be trading convenience for weight. With this set up, I have a deer load and a lower velocity cast bullet load for pests, that use the same sight settings at different ranges.

Works for Rossi .22/410 single shot

Worked well for my little .22/.410 Rossi convertable rifle mounting directly in the mounting screw holes for the scope base plate. Fine adjustment is lacking and care must be taken not the strip the screw heads.
