I have a fairly extensive black powder revolver collection, including some top shelf Colt reissues from 30+ years ago and for a long time the piettas were a noticeable few steps down. But I am very pleased with the progress they've made in fit and finish. I can't quite put it on the top shelf but it certainly holds its own compared to my Ubertis. Not quite as smooth regarding the bluing but a great value considering the price difference. I am a reenactor and wear my Pietta rather than ding my more expensive guns.

better than expected, very nice firearm, well made. I haven't had the chance to shoot it as of yet but am looking forward to it.

I'm very happy. The finish is great, action is crisp, timing is good, and cylinder gap is right where it needs to be.

It's a very good shooter. The balance is "slightly" strange as should be expected with a shortened barrel. The loading lever still has adequate leverage to seat a bullet fairly comfortably.

It's not perfect out of the box, but with cleaning and minor deburring it's a five-star gun.
