Description
Pyrodex® Powder is a powerful, highly efficient black powder substitute. Pyrodex Powder comes in a re-sealable one pound bottle, in three distinct granulation types:
Pyrodex® P (Pistol) is made for use in all pistols and smaller bore rifles, .45 caliber and less. P is also useful as a priming charge in guns that exhibit a tortuous or fouled ignition channel or other worrisome ignition problems. Pyrodex® P is equivalent to FFFG black powder on a particle size basis.
Pyrodex® RS (Rifle Shotgun) can be used in all calibers of percussion Muzzleloading rifles and shotguns. It has a extensive application of use, and is the most versatile powder in the Pyrodex® line. Like all grades of Pyrodex®, it burns cleaner and produces less fouling than black powder. RS is equivalent to FFG black powder on a particle size basis.
Pyrodex® Select is considered by many the most accurate powder available. Select is an enhancement of the RS grade of Pyrodex®.
