Description

The Remington® 700 Ultimate™ Muzzeloader is Remington’s only muzzleloader, but that doesn’t stop Remington from packing this gun with the best features. This rifle offers a higher level of performance and accuracy than any other muzzleloader on the market. Remington® designed the 700 Ultimate™ Muzzleloader exclusively to be the first muzzleloader to reach 300 yards and possibly beyond. The Timney trigger, Bell & Carlson composite stock, and floor plate are features usually found on centerfire rifles, but Remington has integrated them beautifully into this exceptional bolt-action muzzleloader.

This rifle features the Ultimate™ Ignition System, which until now, has not been available on any mass-produced muzzleloader. Remington adapted this technology to work with their timeless 700 bolt-action. Instead of a musket cap or shotgun primer, the Ultimate Muzzleloader uses a primed centerfire magnum rifle casing, which mounts to the breech plug through the 700 bolt-action. Loading the primer is almost identical to loading a Remington 700 centerfire rifle. The primer and casing seat against the breech plug in an innovative way to produce a hotter, more direct powder burn, allowing this muzzleloader to efficiently burn up to 200 grains of powder.

The Remington® 700 Ultimate™ Muzzleloader is quick and easy to clean with its stainless steel, satin-finished barrel, and Bell & Carlson attractive, black composite stock. As a bonus, the Ultimate™ Ignition System allows the rifle to be cleaned without removing the breech plug. When cleaning the barrel, simply rotate the ramrod and patch to clean the face of the breech plug.

The Remington Ultimate Muzzleloader ships with 24 pack of primed magnum rifle casings and 24 saboted Barnes™ bullets. The gun comes with sling swivel studs and comes drilled and tapered for scope mounts. Finally, the Ultimate Muzzleloader comes complete with custom hard gun case for travel or storage, along with Remington’s two-year warranty. If you’re looking to take your muzzleloader hunting to a whole new level, the state-of-the art, Remington 700 Ultimate Muzzleloader will take you to 300+ yards, and is guaranteed not to disappoint.

Remington 700 1:28 twist 54. Cal.

I bought the new Remington 700 BDL 54 cal. Stainless steel muzzle loader
Aka Smoke Pole. I have taken a Cascade starting Elk on for 9 consecutive turn years until refs changed and have hunted White Tails in Nebraska for 4 years taking game deer and elk in March at 100-300 yards consistently using 95 gr of Hodgens Triple Seven Powder and 425 gr Great Plains Buffalo Bullets for elk and 150 gr power belt bullets for deer. Amazing gun hunting every condition known to man. Always reliable never a miss fire. I still have this gun after 30 years and will once again be making a trip to Nebraska for white tails in 24’.

Great gun

I own both models. Very accurate, and easy to clean when breach plug is removed. I agree that it is heavy, but if you stand hunt, this is the way to go. Reload the primers with a 3006 die, no need to resize; I'm sure the hand tool works also. Although it is 5X the price of a normal muzzleloader, if you clean it after every time you use it, it will shoot like new.

Bought the Ultimate muzzleloader and love it. Went to the range and shoot 3/4" groups at 100 yards with the Remington 250 grain bullets and 110 grains of Blackhorn 209, Love it

Remmingtons only ML?! False. My Remington Genesis is mostly produced by CVA but still holds the Remington Brand.

Tremendous look, feel, accuracy, simple, practical and easy to clean.

This is the only muzzleloader to buy in my opinion. It will pay for itself over time by spending less money on bullets and powder to sight it in and when a trophy buck is 200 yards out, its basically a done deal with a good rest. What is that worth? Its fun to shoot with superior results. Very dependable and shoots great groups without cleaning between shots. I'm not afraid to shoot 300 yards with a good rest. With time, I would expect great results shooting beyond 300 yards with a good rest. Can't wait to try it out in Colorado on a mule deer hunt next week. Thank you REMINGTON!
