Description

The CVA™ Wolf V2 Muzzleloader Scope Package comes with a 3-9x40mm bore-sighted duplex scope and a durable soft rifle case. The Muzzle-Loaders.com™ scope is specifically designed for modern muzzleloaders. This scope is built to withstand the impact of today’s high-powered black powder rifles. The 3-9x40mm duplex reticle is unbreakable and the multi-coated optics are clear and bright. Each scope is covered by our lifetime warranty, giving you years of quality performance at a great value.

The redesigned Wolf™ V2 has many new features including all the features that made the original Wolf the number one selling muzzleloader in the world. Still lightweight and easy to maneuver, the Wolf V2 even comes with a 1" spacer in the stock that allows for adjustment for youth or small-framed adults, or even for the shooter who just wants a quick-handling gun for brush hunting.

The 100% ambidextrous stock comes in black synthetic. The Wolf V2 also features CVA’s new QRBP (Quick-Release Breech Plug) – the only truly tool-free removal breech plug on the market today. Even after 20 or more shots, the QRBP comes out with just a twist of the fingers – try that with any other "speed breech" system. Plus, the break-action breech opens easily with just a touch of the breeching button, which is located in the front of the trigger guard.

The Wolf’s compact and quick-pointing barrel is made of stainless steel and is set up with a DuraSight® DEAD-ON™ one-piece scope mount, Muzzle-Loaders Genesis scope, and a rifle case. The Wolf, it’s a lot of gun – but not a lot of money.

CVA Wolf V2

Got the Wolf from UPS unboxed it and was impressed by the quality of the muzzleloader. I ordered with Blackhorn 209 QRBP. Took to the range Loaded with 70gn by weight with a 330 ELR bullet. Great grouping at 100 yards. Went out to 150 for final 3 shots picture I uploaded. That group was with a dirty muzzleloader with about 15 shots that day. Can wait for deer season!

CVA Wolf B2

I purchased this muzzleloader with some reservations seeing how it was being offered as a packaged for what I thought was a cheap price. I received it and a couple friends of mine sighted them in. It took me about 3 shots and I was hitting one inch high at 100 yards. I then back out to 200 yards and hit 2 inches below dead center aiming at dead center. I was using a lead sled so I was definitely steady with my shots. I was very impressed with this set up. My other friend had a more expensive Thompson Center rifle and was not doing near as well as I was. Awesome rifle for the money. Highly recommend CVA

Excellent muzzleloader

Got this to extend my hunting season here in Michigan and this is an excellent setup to do that! I have been impressed with the ease of setup, ease of cleaning, and the package overall. I did have to do quite a bit of scope adjusting when I first got it (the first 2 shots were 11 inches low and 3 inches right), but after making the adjustments this thing has been spot on ever since. Overall an excellent gun with all of the stuff you need to hunt (aside from powder, primer, and bullets). I recommend this to anyone looking to get their first muzzleloader or one that is easy to use and maneuver.

Awesome to look at, awesome to shoot

This is my first muzzleloader so I guess I will be biased. Just on looks alone, CVA makes an awesome looking rifle. I took it to the gun range this weekend and everyone kept coming over to stare at it and ask questions. As far as shooting goes it was very smooth. The trigger is not shy so be mindful of that when you’re getting ready to shoot. I’m in the process of getting the scope zeroed out but I only brought enough white hots to shoot a couple of times so I will definitely have to come back to the range this spring to finish the sighting in. I did notice after bout the 4th shot it was very difficult to get the bullet down into the rifle barrel, I’m guessing due to the residue buildup from the white hots. All in all a very fun shooting rifle.

Impressed

Really impressed with the quality of the scope and muzzleloader I've owned a CVA before so knew what to expect. But really liked th combo. Only thing I wish is the scope would be bore sighted.
