Williams™ T/C New Englander® Fire Sight Set - Fits Thompson Center New Englander Muzzleloaders - 66655

The good part is that I had no issues installing the ramp for the rear sight, which allowed me to replace the open blade rear sight that comes with this package with the ghost ring sight #79019. However, the FRONT SIGHT EXTENDS 1/4” PAST THE MUZZLE, and for that reason I did not put it on my rifle. I suppose you could turn it around and install it backwards. After a little searching on some of the muzzleloading forums on the internet, I’m not the only one who’s noticed this about this product. I don’t know if T/C changed the location of the dovetail for the front sight on the New Englander barrel at some point, but be aware that if you want a front sight with a fiber optic bead you will need to find a different one than the one in this set if you want one that fits properly. Seems like Williams would have figured this out when they made the sight.
