very good rifle

This rifle is perfect, the weight is perfect, It's balanced and almost never misfires. For reenactments it's a good rifle for making an impression although I drilled out the nipple so it fires better with the blanks, and finding a sized nipple for live fire.

Look and function

Overall I was impressed with the musket and happy to finally have it, the delivery time for it was rather pleasing and I am please how quickly it arrived. For the musket itself I have yet to use it but overall it looks and feels good in the hands; my only critiques would be the color of the stock being a little lighter than I would like, also I had some concerns with the stiffness of the trigger, usually when the hammer is in the fired position, the trigger has some give to it, this did not, I am not sure if this is historic or a flaw in the gun. Another issue is the ramrod is not as flared out as on the smoothbore variant, lastly the blued rear sight has me questioning, unless it was historic it seemed off on the musket.
