Description

The Traditions® Hawken Woodsman™ rifle is made for the serious hunter. The Woodsman maintains the classic styling and handling of the time-honored Hawken, while offering great performance and affordability. The percussion model boasts a hooked breech for easy barrel removal, and click-adjustable rear hunting sight.

The Hawken Woodsman features a double-set trigger in an oversized glove-fitting, trigger-guard with finger rest. The rifle also comes complete with classic brass embellishments and inlaid solid brass patch box. The Traditions Hawken Woodsman™ is .50 caliber percussion rifle sporting a 28" octagonal blued barrel. The rifle has an overall length of 44.5" and weighs 7 7/8 lbs.

Tradition hawken woodsman percussion 50 cal

They just delivered my traditions hawken rifle Iwent with cheap ground shipping it took 8 days went from Oregon to Massachusetts and it made it undamaged this gun looks nothing like the picture It looks way better they need to change the picture it’s a real nice rifle nice workman ship you will love it

It's a very well made firearm . It's very accurate, easy to load and shoot . The best about it, is its a load of fun too shoot in the backyard or too hunt with . The best I've ever owned .

Better than expected

Just received this in the mail and as far as I can tell there’s no real issues with this gun it fires better than I expected and is a load of fun, can’t wait for musket season

A good value and a great Rifle

If you're into black powder, get one when you can. Traditions makes a great rifle. I have seen pricier ones but for the value, this one gets the job done. Remember Jeremiah Johnson got excited when he found one.
