The Traditions™ Buckstalker XT Scope Package comes with a mounted and bore-sighted 3-9x40mm Muzzle-Loaders.com™ Duplex Muzzleloader Scope and Muzzle-Loaders.com 48" soft or hard rifle case. The Muzzle-Loaders.com™ scope is specifically designed for modern muzzleloaders. This scope is built to withstand the impact of today’s high-powered black powder rifles. The 3-9x40mm duplex reticle is unbreakable and the multi-coated optics are clear and bright. Each scope is covered by our lifetime warranty, giving you years of quality performance at a great value.

The Traditions® Buckstalker™ XT Muzzleloader is a compact, maneuverable firearm that combines many of Traditions™ best features into one rifle. The Buckstalker™ XT has a 24" barrel making it perfect in any hunting situation, from shooting in dense brush or taking long shots across draws and open fields. This gun comes equipped with the Accelerator Breech Plug™ that is removed by hand in just three turns, without the use of tools. In addition, the one-piece stainless steel breech plug permits you to fire both loose and pelletized powder. 

The Speed Load System allows for easy loading and more consistent groups, while the Premium CeraKote™ Finish helps protect against corrosion and all weather conditions.

The Dual Safety System makes the Buckstalker™ one of the safest guns on the market by equipping this rifle with both a trigger block safety and internal hammer block safety. The Buckstalker™ XT represents one of the best values in muzzleloading.

Excellent Brush or Woods Deer Rifle

The 2 biggest differences (imo) between the Cerakote version of the Buckstalker XT and the Pursuit are the Barrel length/twist rate and the weight. The Buckstalker XT has a 2” shorter barrel at 24” and weighs just a bit more (less than a pound). Where I hunt my shots are all going to be sub-150 yds and most likely with no rest or a branch or tree rest, so the little extra weight to help with recoil and follow through are beneficial. Don’t think of this rifle as entry level. There just might be a reason to choose this rifle over a more expensive one. This trigger is great. My only 2 gripes don’t affect rifle quality at all- the t-handle can make a little noise when it rides on the ramrod (I remove from rifle when hunting) and I wish a sling was included. (studs work great). I added a 1/4” comb riser to help with my fit to the scope-again, not a rifle problem. Mine weighs 8lb2oz with this scope, sling swivels and sling, a comb riser from beartooth, loaded with 2 pellets and a 250 grain Hornady SST.
