Easy to Build lots of fitting and fun to shoot

I received my kit and went to work on it. It took me approximately 2 weeks of working 20-30 minutes after work, so total assembly time is approximately 5-7 hours. You will need a flathead screwdriver, some sand paper, a bluing kit, some wood stain with paintbrushes. My kit was almost there in every dimension but few things actually fit as they are shown, so I had to do a little bit of dremeling and checking until everything fit. Also recommend using epoxy to hold things together that fit loosely since it is not easy to get everything to fit perfectly. Shooting it at the range was fun and only required .45 caliber lead balls, Pyrodex RS powder, and caps. Recommend epoxying your sights in place because I noticed that my sight came loose while shooting.

What you see is largely what you'll get.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the product that I've purchased. While I would've preferred to pay about $40 less for this firearm, it's still a fair price compared to the pre-made version you can purchase. The only issue I had with my product was some minor damage to one of the arching grooves that guides the ramrod into the gun. It arrived in that condition and I'm unsure how it occurred. It's unfortunate and will require some crafty sanding to fix, but other than that, I essentially got what I purchased, no ifs or buts about it.
