The Thompson Center™ T-Handle Short Starter & Ramrod Extension is a great piece of equipment for every muzzleloader shooter to have on hand. Functioning as a dual purpose handle, you can easily start a variety of projectiles down the bore of your muzzleloader. You can then attach the T-Handle Starter to the end of the ramrod and use the t-shaped handle to seat the projectile. The larger surface area of the t-shaped handle makes loading much more comfortable, especially when seating tight rounds that require more force to seat.  

The Thompson Center® Wooden T-Handle Short Starter & Ramrod Extension is manufactured as a two-piece brass rod including the threaded bullet starter and the main rod. To use the T-Handle Starter as a bullet starter simply attach the bullet starter extension and use the concave end to start anything from a lead round ball to a modern conical projectile. Once the bullet has been seated the T-Handle Starter can be used as a ramrod extension handle by removing the bullet starter extension and attaching the T-Handle to the ramrod using the 10/32 threads at the base of the rod.
