The Weatherby® Model 307 MZY is Weatherby's first dedicated muzzleloader, designed for hunters who want the performance and precision of a modern centerfire rifle in a front-loading platform. Built on the modular Model 307 action, the MZY combines advanced engineering with muzzleloader specific features to deliver a dependable hunting rifle for today's black powder seasons. Available in both .45 and .50 caliber configurations, it also offers options that comply with many western state muzzleloader regulations.

At the heart of the Model 307 MZY is the Arrowhead Gen2 Ignition System, a sealed ignition design that uses precision fit primer modules with large rifle primers. Commonly found on custom muzzleloaders, this system delivers hot, consistent ignition through a short, straight flame path while fully sealing the breech. The result is reduced blowback, a cleaner action, and consistent headspace from shot to shot for reliable performance in the field.
