Fast shipping. Excellent customer service. So for I have only shot 5 rounds through it at 100 grains white hots with 250 grain power belt. I had to adjust the sights a little but can get a group of about 2 inches with three rounds at 50 yards open sight.

I bought my optima 2 years ago. It is accurate, easy to clean, and always goes bang. I have harvested a deer with it both years. My BIL likes it so much that I bought him one for Christmas.

I am just back from a Montana elk hunt where I shot a big mature cow elk with my new CVA Optima 2. The rifle and Vortex scope combo performed beautifully. I shot my cow at 180 yds resting on BOG tripod with 150-grain load of triple 7 and a 290 gr Hornady Boredriver bullet. Double lung shot with bullet found under hide on the opposite side. Bullet weight retention was close to 95%...and perfect mushroom.

This CVA 50 Cal. in Line BP ML is as accurate as my Model 700 30:06 Remington Center Fire Rifle’s 150 grain SP hand loads and does the job to bring them down.
I use 2-50 grain White Hot Powder Pellets (100 grain total) & Hornady 250 Grain SST Low Drag Sabot Projectile to 100 yds. Solid Results.

I found after speaking with CVA to develop good accuracy shot after shot at practice range to clean barrel after every shot to zero in. BIG DIFFERENCE. Good Hunting!!!
