The great news is the muzzleloader that comes in this kit can be easily outfitted with open sights if you plan to hunt in one of the western states that require open sights only. Additionally, the gun can be converted to meet the musket cap ignition requirements of Oregon and Idaho. The only state this gun can't be used in is Montana as they have a traditional muzzleloader season only.
