The VX Freedom UltimateSlam™ S.A.B.R reticle is the preeminent black powder scope designed specifically for muzzleloaders, taking the guesswork out of hold over angles for even the most difficult of shots. The exclusive ballistic reticle, coinciding with the most popular black powder loads today, provides you with exact aiming points from 50 to 300 yards. The Crossfire™ comes standard with a DuraSight® DEAD-ON™ one-piece scope mount and CVA’s solid aluminum PalmSaver Ramrod. This model features a stainless steel barrel finish and black composite stock. The Federal™ FireStick is a sealed polymer ignition capsule that holds premeasured powder charges. The ability to have the same exact charge on every shot allows for more consistent velocities, which increase accuracy and performance. Cleaning is a snap, since the FireStick™ is designed for one-time use there is no real cleaning involved in the breech area. The Firestick™ not only speeds up reloading, it also reduces the need for many common muzzleloader accessories, making it much easier for beginners. Powder measures, powder flasks, nipple picks, speed loaders, cappers, and parts soakers are not needed with this rifle. With the Crossfire™ Muzzleloader all you’ll need to carry are 209 primers, bullets, FireStick’s and short starter!
