Description

The CVA™ Hammer Spur attaches to the cocking hammer of your muzzleloader rifle. This steel hammer spur helps you to cock your gun when you have a scope attached, by expanding the hammer outside of your rifle scope.

The hammer spur fits all CVA 2017 and newer muzzleloader models. This hammer spur WILL NOT be compatible with the CVA Wolf, Optima, and Accura models made after 2010 and before 2017 as the hammer spur design has changed.

The hammer spur I received has NFThread, and my hammer has NSThread. My gun is a Pursuit Pro traditions 50 cal

Excellent replacement

If you have an older model this won't work

Useless for us as we had an older model and the thread pitch is different. Otherwise quality looked fine

Good... till it beaks off

I am on my third replacement. All were installed correctly (left hand threads). However they are brittle as hell and break off with very little use. Not many options besides milling your own from more higher strength metal.

Showed up on time but does not work with CVA optima threads are not same as threads on hammer
