Description

Hodgdon® Triple Seven™ FFFG Loose Powder is a revolutionary black powder substitute made from gluconic acid, a sugar-based propellant that is more efficient than Blackpowder or Pyrodex.  The powder is sulfur-free so leaves no noxious odor after firing, plus it burns efficiently leaving fewer residues to simplify cleaning.

Triple Seven™ Powder produces the highest velocities by volume of any granular muzzleloading propellant, resulting in flatter trajectories and more accurate shots. This powder comes in FFFG granulation with smaller grain size intended for use in pistols or rifles of .50 caliber or smaller. Highly recommended for .31, .36 and .44 caliber revolvers.

Developed for today’s modern muzzleloader, Triple Seven™ loose powder is far more economical and is easier to ignite.  For shooters who prefer loose powder to pellets, it delivers superior velocity and accuracy with less fouling. Best yet, it cleans up easily with plain water.

**Do not exceed the loads displayed in the loading guide. Never mix any two powders regardless of type, brand, or source. Never substitute any smokeless powder for Black Powder or any Black Powder substitute.

If you need performance over authenticity, I would definitely recommend this powder substitute

Honestly, I prefer this over the holy black. and if you are looking for performance instead of authenticity, this stuff works wonders in modern muzzleloaders and modern revolver replicas. I definitely recommend this product because it seems to burn cleaner and hotter, and I don’t have a chronograph, but I do believe it up the feet per second muzzleloader can handle hotter loads.

It works

I've used this in two different pistols and a Blunderbuss. It sends the bullet/shot downrange. Cleans up fairly easy. No problems.

Great Black Powder Substitute

Having several black powder revolvers, I wanted a good black powder substitute that is just as good, clean burning and easy to cleanup after shooting.

Great all around powder!!

I use it in all my black powder firearms! Out shoots Pyrodex P and RS! Easy cleaning! I have a 36 cal Spiller and Burr a Remington 1858 New Army 44 and an old T/C Firehawk 50 inline. Been using 777 since it was put on the market! Can't go wrong!
