I should have known it was metric, I had to drill and tap for a new plug, but went 6-32 in stead of 4.0 mm. Muzzle loader was on its game and the real issue was shipping USPS. They suck, I waited over 2weeks for the plugs! The postal service would never make it without subsidies from taxpayers. Muzzle loader was great and never the problem. They were very responsive to my questions.

I have an older model Investarms Hawkin rifle. The cleanout plug is super small. I always worry when cleaning the gun that the plug will be lost. I ordered two plugs ... they arrived promptly and fit perfect. A real feeling of relief having these spares.

This plug fit perfectly in my Lyman Great Plains Rifle! I would recommend this item for use in the GPR.

Did not fit my Cabelas Ivestarms muzzleloader’s clean out hole.
