Pietta Hand & Spring - For 1851 Navy & 1860 Army & Sheriff Revolvers - 665

I learned my lesson about genuine replacement parts for my Pietta 1851 Navy. I bought this for backup though realizing that I will probably have to fine tune it should I ever have to install it. It looks identical to the one in my pistol though. This is a great company to deal with. Quick and accurate order processing and timely delivery.

With a little filing, the hand and spring work perfectly. I had to watch a YouTube video to see what had to be done. File a little at a time. Great results. The revolver works better than new.

The parts i get from muzzleloader are quality pietta parts. I gunsmith my own revolvers and several i have purchased are defarbed or have no identifing cartouche. With capable and knowledgeable staff on the phones(real people, very accomodating) i have been able to refit some very old replicas with later parts. Thanks for the great parts and super customer service

Unfortunately it doesn’t work correctly in my pistol right out of the package. It will take some modifications to make it work which I’m not sure how to do.
