Description

The PowerBelt Pure Lead Bullet is the original bullet manufactured by the Idaho bullet maker. The Pure Lead bullet continues to be a great choice for Northwest hunters where bullet regulations disqualify the use of copper bullets. The lead bullets are also great for the economical shooter, whether hunting in the field or just target shooting at the range. Available in three different grain weights (295, 348 & 405).

PowerBelt Pure Lead bullets are revolutionary in their design and performance. In states where copper-plated bullets are not allowed, PowerBelt Pure Leads are the highest tech, best performing bullets you can shoot! These 295 grain lead bullets are perfect for taking deer-sized game at ranges up to 200 yards, while the 348 & 405 grain bullets are best used for larger game like elk and bear.

Unlike sabots, these bullets are full bore conicals and leave little plastic residue behind. PowerBelt™ Bullets can be shot up to eight times before the recommended barrel swab is required. Due to their .001” under bore diameter, they are particularly easy to load. PowerBelt's patented snap-on base gas seal eliminates gas blow by, while at the same time, gives you the optimal flight performance and down range accuracy you desire. PowerBelt™ manufactures over 7 million muzzleloader bullets every year, making them the largest muzzleloading bullet manufacturer in the world.

Anchor’s Elk “Everytime!!”

I own & reload for 20+ centerfire calibers but literally every Elk I’ve harvested with a powerbelt pure lead bullet over 100grs of RS powder. Anyone who says they won’t work are armchair hunter’s and here’s the last one to prove my point…a cow that took one step, head first into the ground.

PowerBelts Work Great

I have been using PowerBelts for 3 years. I use the lead PowerBelts in my TC Impact with a 1:28 twist and they are very consistent and accurate. I've even used them in my Traditions Hawken Woodsmen with a 1:48 twist and they are very accurate also after working up a good powder load.

Best Bullet

If you are hunting the three states (ID-OR-WA) that require lead bullets these are the ones you want to use, my buddy use these all the time and swears by them and he has been a muzzle loader for a long time. I am just getting into muzzle loading and have bee practicing a lot with these bullets and so far they are as advertised excellent accuracy and the nice thing is there are several different grains that you can get. My muzzle loader is dialed in at 150 yards and I am using 90 grains of powder.
