Description

The Thompson Center® 4-in-1 Quickshot™ Loader is designed to make bullet case reloading a simple, rapid process for any magnum load and bullet. The sturdy design makes measuring your powder charge and loading your bullet a snap. The 4-in-1 quickshot loader features two compartments, one for powder or pellets and one for your bullet. Both compartments are sealed by durable plastic caps. The loader features a bullet starter to help you avoid knuckle brazing while loading and a 209 primer recess at the top.

The .50 caliber loaders can be used as a bullet starter, powder container, palm saver and two compartment quick-loader. These loaders hold pre-measured powder charges of black powder or Pyrodex® equivalent pellets.

They work great. Holds my powder, my projectile and primer with built in bullet starter. I have practiced with them and they work good for a fast reload in the field.

Worked nicely!

I used this Quickshot 50 cal loader during the PA late flintlock season. I used it with 80 grains of 3F Goex and a 45 cal Hornady XTP bullet in a 50 cal sabot. I had four of them prepped and carried them in my shooting bag over four days of hunting. The powder and bullet stayed secure and ready for use.

I did have the need for a fast reload and this loader worked very well to do that quickly. The bullet starter function worked nicely to get the bullet started and I did not have to use my short starter at all. I just needed to use my ramrod to complete the reload. I did not use the pan primer part of the loader because I use a brass priming device hung around my neck for that.

The instructions say it will work with a patched round ball as well but I did not try that.
