Description

The Thompson Center® 209 U-View™ Musket Capper is the ultimate tool for shooters using musket cap ignition rifles. The see-thru U-View™ is designed specifically for use with Northwest or Traditional Muzzleloaders that use musket caps. The cappers rectangular tube eliminates problems with tipped and jammed caps, and the see-thru design allows quick visual inspection of your cap reserves.

The U View™ capper is smartly spring-loaded and has a capacity of (8) musket caps, which makes for quick, easy loading in the field or at the range.

Not worth it

I bought one of these and the Schuetzen 4 flange musket caps would not slide or nor could they be forced to feed. I bought another one locally and it was only slightly better with one or two feeding then jamming partway down. Not worth owning or returning. I then used the Thompson Center® Flexible 209 Muzzleloader Capper - 8007 for the same caps flange side up, and it works great.
