Tack driver!

This is my first flintlock and it had a learning curve. I only had Pyrodex and 777 when I got the rifle and after months of trying to shoot with them I was aggravated, frustrated, and ticked. Once I swapped to "real" Black powder a whole new world opened up for me! The gun fires every single time and hits exactly where I aim. I have it sighted for 50 yards since 90% of my shots will be under that range and with 70 grains of FFF it amazes me. Despite the light weight of the "Olde smoke pole" recoil is very light. It handles patched round balls, sabots, mini's, and R.E.A.L. rounds with ease.
If it has a fault, it would be in the sites. While I DID manage to site it in the rear site is all the way down and barely hanging on and as far right as it will go. I'm afraid a good bump and I'll lose the rear site due to it falling off.

First flintlock lock

I've only been shooting muzzle loaders less then a year.iv bought 2 traditions gun kits I enjoyed putting them together and shooting I also just got a revolver. This deer hunter is my first flint lock I haven't shot it yet and I'm not a fan of plastic but for the money ill deal with it but I find the gun itself to be top notch it is just what I'm after I'm sick and can't hold much weight and it fits me well I no ill have a great time and I'll add some bling to the plastic stock.
