The Traditions® Vortek StrikerFire VAPR™ LDR Muzzleloader comes with a 3-9x40mm bore-sighted Burris™ Fullfield E1 Muzzleloader scope and a durable 48" soft rifle case. The Burris™ Fullfield E1 Scope was designed specifically for muzzleloaders and features the Burris™ Ballistic Plex Reticle. This reticle offers hold points for various yardages, depending on your specific caliber. This feature has become a staple in many lineups, as it offers the hunter a specific hold point for yardages, instead of guessing at holdover or having to dial the elevation knob to the correct distance. This FullField E1™ Muzzleloader Scope comes in a matte black finish, with a 1-inch main tube.

The Vortek™ Strikerfire VAPR LDR takes in-line muzzleloaders to the next level by removing the need for an external hammer and replacing it with an internal StrikerFire™ System. The StrikerFire™ System works on the same principle as modern center-fire rifle safeties. To cock the gun, simply slide the striker button forward until it locks, then fire. The recessed de-cocking button allows for quick and quiet de-cocking of the firearm. The gun also comes equipped with an automatic de-cocking mechanism, so when the gun is opened, it is automatically de-cocked. By eliminating the external hammer you get faster lock times, plus the ability to mount your scope closer to the bore allows the gun to operate with less weight. 

The Traditions™ VAPR LDR Muzzleloader Rifle features a Cerakote™ treated steel barrel that makes the rifle almost corrosion-proof. The Vortek VAPR™ LDR Muzzleloader comes with a fast twist 1:24 rifled barrel, allowing this gun to properly stabilize today's modern high BC black powder bullets.

Traditions™ equipped the Nitride StrikerFire™ LDR with some additional features. The StrikerFire™ is outfitted with a TAC2™ two-stage trigger that is set at 2 pounds and is creep-free. The innovative stock design makes the rifle lighter than any other rifle in its class while still maintaining maximum strength and durability.

The StrikerFire™ LDR also features a premium Soft-Touch Realtree™ Edge Camo stock, one-piece Accelerator Breech Plug™ that allows you to fire both loose or pelletized powder without changing the breech plug, a Dual Safety System, and Speed Load System that enables easier loading and more consistent groupings.
