- Muzzleloaders must load from the muzzle
- Muzzleloaders must shoot separate components (ie. powder, bullet and cap must not be contained in a cartridge)
- Bullets must be .40 inches are larger
- Bullets must be hard cast lead, conical lead or saboted projectiles
