Nikon® announces New Prostaff P3™ Muzzleloader Scope

Muzzle-Loaders.com is happy to announce that Nikon® has released the NEW Prostaff P3™ Muzzleloader Scope. As the newest member of their muzzleloader scope lineup, the Prostaff P3™ is a tactical scope designed for long range muzzleloader shooting, boasting a more professional platform and 3.6" of consistent eye relief. The Prostaff P3™ Muzzleloader is the successor to the extremely popular Nikon Inline XR™ and has been redesigned for better durability and an updated design. The P3 Muzzleloader scope is offered in the time-tested 3-9x40mm configuration, with either black matte or silver finishes. At this time, there is no word about building a camo version.

The Prostaff P3™ Muzzleloader scope is equipped with Nikon's BDC 300™ reticle which has become a favorite with many hunters, allowing the ability to accurately reach out to 300 yards. The BDC 300™ reticle, combined with Nikon's Spot-On Ballistic Match Technology™, will calculate exact yardages on each circle on the reticle, giving quick target acquisition and even quicker elevation adjustment. This app eliminates the guesswork of holdover points and provides a yardage calculation based on your personal load combination. The Spot-On program has all of the top muzzleloader bullets already included with the program, which allows for precise aiming points based on your powder charge and atmospheric conditions. Nikon even allows you to print out your data overlayed on the reticle, to allow quick-reference when you're in the field or at the range.

Nikon Spot-On Ballistic Match Technology™ is a valuable program in determining the holdover points for your BDC 300 reticle. CLICK HERE to access the Spot-On website. The program is free to download and the Nikon Spot-On app is available on the ios and android marketplaces to access your ballistic data while on the go.

Both the elevation and windage turrets feature 1/4 MOA adjustments that can easily be turned by hand, are spring-loaded, and can reset to 'zero' for quick reference when making changes. Every reticle adjustment is crisp and every click can be felt and heard by the shooter. The rugged 1" scope tube is constructed from lightweight, aircraft grade aluminum and both turrets are housed under all-new aluminum caps, providing extra durability where it counts. The Nikon Prostaff P3™ scope is also fully protected under Nikon's Lifetime No Fault Warranty, ensuring this scope will be handed down to the next generation.
