It's AWESOME!

I think this is the greatest black powder pistol field companion ever invented. I am going to sew a little pocket on the back side of my holster to hold it and some cleaning patches. That way I can keep my pistol clean and lubed no matter the circumstances I find myself in!!!

Not very well made and the rods are not long enough to go all the way through the barrel

Not great for a long barrel like a colt walker

I bought this to clean my new 1847 walker clone. I did not like that it did not come with a patch jag so I had to order this separate. I always run patches in blackpowder guns with a jag and feel that this cleans the rifling better than a loose patch. I also don't like that the rod is not long enough to reach through the barrel. I have to run it from both ends of the barrel and they do reach over 1/2 way, but I wish it were about 3 or 4 inches longer to reach completely through from one end of the barrel. Otherwise I do like the compact storage nature of this kit and that it can fit in my range bag.
