Description

The Traditions™ Vortek Strikerfire LDR Replacement Ramrod is made from solid aluminum and makes reloading and cleaning your muzzleloader a breeze. The replacement ramrod consists of a solid aluminum rod with a special jag on one end that is threaded. The actual PalmSaver, or knob, attaches to this threaded jag and is configured in a way that allows it to be left on the gun while firing.

The rod can be removed quickly for loading a second shot, and, most importantly, the PalmSaver knob protects the palm while seating the bullet. The Replacement Ramrod is 10-32 threaded on both ends making it ideal for attaching modern loading and cleaning jags.

**Ramrod DOES NOT come with a PalmSaver handle

Good Aftermarket Ram Rod

I purchased this ram rod to replace the factory one on my Traditions Vortek Strikerfire LDR .50cal muzzleloader so that I may be able to use the Hornady jag for the Hornady ELD-X Bore Drivers. I gave it a 4 star rating as the jag that comes on it was either glued in or pressed in. It had to be removed to work for my needs. When I went to remove the jag it snapped off. Otherwise it works well and accomplishes the goal of seating a bullet as the other end was threaded and I could still attach the Hornady jag.
