Description

This ramrod attachment is specifically designed for use with the Muzzle-Loaders felt cleaning patches.

The jag features 10-32 threads that will attach to most common range and field rods in the muzzleloading world. The rest of the jag is also threaded to properly secure the felt cleaning patches to the jag.

To use simply thread the jag onto the ramrod then take a felt cleaning patch and twist the patch onto the threaded jag and you are ready to clean.

Concept is good. Execution is poor.

.The quality of the jag is fine, the problem is with the felt pellets. The felt pellets are very dense and have a 1/64 inch hole in the center. The problem is trying to force the the tip of the jag into the felt pellet to get it started to thread on. Excessive pressure just deforms the felt pellet. Customer service was no help. They just stated the obvious that they need to be tight to keep them from falling off the jag in the barrel. If anybody has a technique to get these pellets to thread on the jag easily, i would appreciate the tip. Otherwise, they are all (.45 and .50) going in the trash.
