The Pedersoli® Derringer Liegi Pistol or "screw barrel pistol", as it is also known as was originally designed as an adaptation of the original Derringer pistol with an easily removable barrel. This makes the gun extremely easy to conceal and was commonly used as a boot or hideout pistol. The pistol is simple yet elegant in design and features an American walnut handle in conjunction with a solid steel frame that has been case hardened with an antique finish to give it a truly authentic look and feel. The hammer is also case hardened and uses a percussion cap nipple for the ignition source.
