    Pedersoli
    Low Stock
The Pedersoli™ Coach Gun is a classic reproduction of the side-by-side shotguns used during the Civil War. During the American Civil War of the mid 1800's, Confederate troops used many standardized ordnance guns, including many sourced from European countries. Among the guns used to equip the Cavalry regiments were traditional hunting side-by-side shotguns, these shotguns featured shortened barrels to be handier while mounted on horseback. These shotguns gave the Cavalry regiments a notable advantage in the close range combat. During this period many of these shortened shotguns featured both main spring locks and the back action locks. Their popularity in fact, induced many gunsmiths to produce guns with shortened barrels and a single trigger mechanism. The Pedersoli™ Coach Gun is a classic black powder shotgun that features a satin finished walnut half stock, engraved locks, and double browned barrels. The Coach Gun's stock is 24" in length and features a 2 1/4" drop. The Pedersoli™ Coach Gun comes in a 12 gauge with a #11 percussion cap ignition system and tapered round barrel.
