Muzzle-Loaders Lifetime Range Rod - MZ1633

This is an outstanding range rod and well worth the money. The handle is made from solid aluminum and the sections from solid brass which thread easily and firmly together. I was expecting heavy-duty tubing but was pleasantly surprised as there is no flexing when setting your bullet. I added a drop of blue Loc-Tite on the handle threads to keep it tight, although it probably wasn't necessary. Additionally, I added a rubber washer to the handle to avoid marring the muzzle brake when cleaning. The longest section is 12" with the handle. When you add a 1 1/2" jag to the end section then it's length is 12 3/4" including the threads. It stores easily in my range bag with 13" side pockets. I have a 30" barrel with an Anarchy Outdoor Full Port muzzle brake, which adds 1 1/2" to the barrel length and this rod is adequate to push patches through but recommend adding a 3" jag when using the brass brush. Highly recommend this Range Rod.

Good construction and easy to use at the range. Takes the work out of seating bullets. Also works great as a cleaning rod also.Works good with all my jags.

Nice, solid rod. I took the tip section (not marked), and chucked it up in the drill press. I hit the spinning rod with a triangular file, and cut a couple of grooves in the end that accepts the jag/brush/worm. Now I can tell at a glance which piece I’m picking up!
