I ordered this because of all the good reviews and ordered from Muzzle-Loaders.com because the reviews about the company were more reassuring.
Even though I ordered during Thanksgiving week, I still received the loader within 5 business days. I was actually expecting it to take longer, given the holiday.
When it arrived, I had the loader itself, but it was missing all the extra parts like the Allen wrenches, jags, posts, etc.. I promptly sent an email to Muzzle-Loaders.com reporting the missing pieces and asking if they could send me the missing accessories. Without any hassle or questions, the missing pieces arrived today and I now have everything. THAT is Service.
The EZ Loader II is solidly built, hefty, and works well with both my Pietta 1851 Sheriff and 1858 New Army .44 cap and ball revolvers. The weight of the loader is such that I don't think I will need to bolt it to a board for use at the range. I'm definitely happy with it and foresee it lasting a long time, indeed.
As others have said, it won't hurt to take a fine file to the sharp edges of the base and you will have to keep it properly lubricated, but that's a simple wipe with an oiled cloth.
I'm definitely happy with both product and company and will be ordering from them again.
