Absolutely Wonderful!

An amazing piece! Got it in on Monday but refrained from use during holy week so was very excited to fire it the first time on Easter! My family loved it and was the first firearm 3 of my family members ever shot and another who has before adamantly refused to shoot since their last time ~8 years ago. Just got back in from day two of shooting it with the powder still fresh on my hands and a smile on my face! :)

Beautiful Pedersoli Brown Bess

The quality of the Pedersoli Brown Bess is outstanding. It's a masterpiece in craftsmanship. I've been looking for one of these for sometime to add to my weapons collection. Muzzle-Loaders are a great muzzle loading company to deal with.

Great product

Unlike NB who seemed to have something other than what Pedersoli makes, my experience with mine is nothing short of fantastic. No marring of wood as NB states, no burrs-just a very well made product. Great wood to metal fit. 5 star all around. Just like MC reported. It's almost like NB has an agenda. I have handled a LOT of Pedersoli Brown Bess muskets before I got mine and ALL of them have been outstanding. If you are considering a Brown Bess you won't find a better one short of a full on custom and it still won't be that much better-but it WILL cost a lot more.

Best Brown Bess Musket Available

This is, with out a doubt, the highest quality Brown Bess musket replica out there. Nice dark, oiled walnut stock. Wood to metal fit is perfect and the functionality of the lock is great right out of the box. Highly recommended.

Also, Muzzle-Loaders.com gets high marks for price and speed. However I would next time opt for faster delivery over lowest shipping price as my musket visited MANY parts of the country that even I have never seen on it's slow way here. Plus, there was a largish, fork-lift fork size hole knocked in the side of the box that thankfully did not damage the musket. Thinking a shorter, faster trip would have been less likely to result in possible damage,

For the price, They could do better.

1) Metal burrs left on the ramrod flair and on the ramrod threads.
2) Metal burrs on the edges of the cock (hammer)
3) Stock was drilled for the drift pins AFTER the finish was applied. This left splintered edges around the holes.
