The Pedersoli™ Kentucky Rifle is a .50 caliber flintlock that is a reproduction of the kentucky long rifle. The Kentucky .50 caliber flintlock rifle evolved from German hunting rifles and was a major rival to the Brown Bess musket and was popular in early colonial America. The Pedersoli™ Kentucky Rifle features a 48" American Walnut one-piece stock in satin finish which is accented by beautiful inlaid brass furniture. The rifle sports a 13 1/2" trigger pull with a 35 1/16" blued octaganol barrel with a 1:48 twist.
This Kentucky Rifle is an exact reproduction manufactured by Pedersoli™ in Italy. The .50 Caliber Kentucky Rifle features blade sights, the front sight has a blued steel base with blade, while the rear is an open style blued steel sight. This Kentucky Rifle is designed to use 5/8" flints and features a single trigger for accurate shooting. Brass furniture, color case-hardened lock give the rifle an antique look. The Pedersoli™ Kentucky Rifle is 50" in overall length and weighs 6 1/2 lbs and comes with a wooden ramrod with brass tip and 10x32 threading.
