With so many different types of percussion caps available it can be difficult to know which one you need for your muzzleloader. Today, we are going to give you all of the information that you will need to know before picking up your first container of percussion caps!

There are three main types of percussion caps and we are here to help you sort out which ones you need for your muzzleloader rifle or black powder pistol. There are more differences in application than you might think. For instance, #10 percussion caps are mostly used in black powder pistols where as #11 and musket percussion caps are mostly used for muzzleloading rifles.
