ALASKA MUZZLELOADER HUNTING SEASON REGULATIONS
- Muzzleloaders must be a shoulder-mounted long gun.
- Muzzleloaders must be at least .45 caliber or larger.
- Muzzleloaders may have either a rifled or smoothbore.
- Muzzleloaders must discharge only a single projectile.
- Scopes are not allowed during muzzleloader seasons.
- It must be loaded with black powder or a black powder substitute. The black powder or black powder substitute cannot contain smokeless powder.
- Shot used in muzzleloaders must be non-toxic and hunters may not be in the immediate possession of lead shot.
