Traditions NitroFire VAPR Press Release

In 2021, Traditions Firearms introduced the VAPR barrels to the Pursuit XT and Vortek StrikerFire muzzleloaders.

The Traditions VAPR barrel features a faster 1:24” twist rate, which provides additional stability for long range accuracy. New for 2022, the Traditions NitroFire VAPR will combine the convenience of the Federal Firestick ignition, with the faster twist rate to improve down-range accuracy. The Traditions NitroFire VAPR and Federal FireStick are revolutionary in their safety technology and shot-to-shot consistency.

Now, with the upgraded VAPR barrel, the NitroFire will be even more accurate at longer distances. The 1:24” twist rate will still stabilize the standard 200 and 250 grain bullets, while allowing for even better accuracy and stability from 300 grain bullets. We are excited about Traditions’ decision to add the VAPR barrel to the NitroFire line and look forward to testing this muzzleloader in the coming months!

The Traditions NitroFire has already distinguished itself as a premier muzzleloader and we expect the addition of the VAPR barrel to take this design to the next level.
