Top Muzzleloaders for 2015

The muzzleloading industry has seen great innovations throughout the last decade. Today's inlines are improving each year, and the accuracy and long-range performance has grown to levels that were never though possible. With all this new innovation, we have decided to create a list of the best muzzleloaders for 2015. This includes some new models, as well as some strong and reliable models from prior years.

For 2015, there are several new and exciting muzzleloaders in the mix. CVA has released the Accura 'Long Range', as well as Optima V2's with Nitride coatings. Traditions has released a new stock design for their Pursuit line, and T handles are now a standard feature with all of their muzzleloaders. Some of last year's models that also made the list were the Remington 700 Ultimate, Traditions Vortek StrikerFire, and LHR Redemption, because of their proven reliability and accuracy. After all models were considered, we built this list of the best inline muzzleloaders for 2015!

CVA Accura V2 LR

CVA Accura V2 LR

New for 2015, the CVA Accura V2 LR is CVA’s top-of-the-line muzzleloader. This model features a 30” barrel and Max 1™ camo pattern. The 30” stainless steel Bergara barrel is a first for CVA, and is built for the long-range hunter. Also on this model, CVA added their extremely popular Nitride coating, which features the best weather and corrosion resistance in the industry. This new “Long Rifle” will also feature CVA’s patented Quick Removable Breech Plug, break action design, and ambidextrous rear thumbhole stock. All these features have earned this muzzleloader the title of our Best Muzzleloader for 2015. To find out more about the CVA Accura V2 Long Range, CLICK HERE.

Remington 700 Ultimate Muzzleloader

Remington 700 UML

The muzzleloading industry has seen a lot of changes and innovations over the last decade, but none quite as impressive and revolutionary as the Ultimate Ignition System, which powers the new Remington 700 Ultimate Muzzleloader. With the ability to cleanly burn up to 200 grains of powder, this rifle is capable of bullet speeds over 2400 fps. This revolutionary system allows this muzzleloader to have sub-MOA groups, as well as enough energy to effectively use a 250 grain bullet at distances over 300 yards. The Bell and Carlson and laminate wood stocks are heavy enough to help absorb the recoil from these magnum loads, but also keep the weigh light enough to allow this muzzleloader to be carried easily. The Remington 700 Ultimate Muzzleloader will definitely be a head-turning rifle anywhere you go. To find out more about the Remington 700 Ultimate Muzzleloader, CLICK HERE.

CVA Optima V2 Nitride

CVA Optima V2

CVA’s Optima V2 line has been a consistently great performer, and extremely popular with consumers. With the features from the Accura adapted to a more compact platform like the Wolf, this muzzleloader is versatile and affordable. The new Optima’s feature great accuracy, lightweight-feel, and Nitride coatings on the barrel and action. This is the same Nitride that was introduced into the Accura models last year, and proved to be the best coating in the business. With the new Nitride options, we expect the Optima’s to dominate the mid-range muzzleloader market. To find out more about the CVA Optima V2 Nitride, CLICK HERE.
