although it took awhile to get i love the looks and feel of this pistol, i have the optima v2 50cal rifle and love the accuracy. haven't shot it yet but i know it will be the same, very comfortable grip and hold, will buy again from you.

Awesome muzzle loading pistol

I bought a camo version of the optima pistol at a local sporting goods store about 15 years ago. I love this gun! Loaded heavy your approaching 454 Casull territory. Or load it light and have fun. My current load is 100 grains of BH209 with a 300 grain hornady sst sabot. Hold on tight is all I can say and off of a good rest like a sand bag 100 yard shots are more than possible. In a blind deer hunting its extremely manuverable. Im currently using a bog pod deathgrip and its perfect. However wear your ear pro if your in a blind with the short barrel. Buy one and dont look back! Doooooo it!

I own a CVA Accura Rifle and always like to hunt with some kind of pistol to challenge myself with does. IA has a very long muzzleloader season so adding this pistol was something I should have done a long time ago. I will get to hunt with it shortly, but after zeroing it with a red dot I am right on target at 50 yards with less than a one inch group on bullseye. If you like the challenge of hunting with a pistol this one excellent. As a side note I am using Platinum Powerbelts, 270gr. I use the same with my Accura rifle. Powerbelts seem to work best with my CVA muzzleloaders.

I ordered this an had it within days super accurate can't say enough good about it would recommend to anyone.
